I discovered the art of Rosie Hardy when I was least expecting to find anything of interest. I instantly became addicted, like her work was caressing my soul. I could look at her photos all day and never tire!
Yesterday I found out about her "plagiarism", and was horrified! I was horrified because this talented young girl's world was falling apart for one mistake she made. She favourited photos on her deviantart account, photos that sparked her imagination and gave her inspiration. She was so inspired as to create similar photos of her own. That's when someone declared her a "plagiarist". She did not steal these peoples work, she simply was inspired by their idea and created it on her own.
Rosie is such a lovely girl, and it broke my heart to hear that she would no longer post photos on flickr for a while. There are so many people rooting for Rosie and her amazing work. I hope she comes back soon, we are all waiting.
